That's What She Crafted: Project Run & Play Season 9 Sew-along: Week 1

Hey guys! It's Crystal here and its Project Run & Play time! We all like to follow Project Run & Play over here at TWSC. Last season, our very own Karly won the whole shebang! The new season is about to begin and, we’re all super excited to sew along when we can and vote for our favorite looks each week. You should sew along too...because all the cool kids are doing it. The theme for this week is Put me in the Zoo. It’s time to go wild!

This is my 3^rd season sewing along with PR&P, but my first doing so under the TWSC banner! I participated under my old blog “Ginger Dimples” before. Don’t go stalking! You won’t find me. I’ve hidden it where you’ll never find it. ANYWAY... When it comes to the zoo, we’re all over the place in this house. I like birds, fish and bugs. My husband loves the wild cats and my kids love the snack bar. They totally love the animals, but the ice cream really wins. I decided to go with a wild cat and since I think those that dwell in the snow have a very glamorous feel about them. My final inspiration was the Snow Leopard.

I didn’t want to go overboard with the print. I didn’t want this to scream “PEOPLE OF WALMART”, so I used just enough of the print to give you a glimpse of this gorgeous cat. The sparkle tulle reminded me of the snow in the sunlight and I just knew it would be perfect.

The Pattern I used for this look was the Classic Sundress by Tenderfeet Stitches. It’s seriously one of my absolute favorites. I’ve made quite a few and I’ll probably make tons more in the future.
